The First Thing To Go

The first thing to go was the speedometer/odometer. Not a big deal except that it was all down hill from there. The car has left me stranded three times (twice for engine filure, and once for transmission problems) and neary stranded two more times (overheating both times). The head gasket has been replaced. The transmission has been rebuilt. The radiator has been replaced. You'd think it would have been fixed by now, but in about a month it can still consume more oil than it can hold. There was even one stretch of time where it was in the shop for repairs every two months.
